Amcor announced a significant expansion of its thermoforming production capacity for the healthcare market in North America.

The expansion includes addition of automated,state-of-the-art thermoforming equipment at Amcor's healthcare manu-facturing plant in Oshkosh,Wisconsin.

Expected to be operational as early as December 2024, the new equipment will be located in the Class 7 cleanroom at the plant, which operates under the ISO13485 quality system.

The expansion will support increasing demand in medical, pharmaceutical and consumer health sectors. It will also al-low customers to source thermoforms and companion die-cut lids from a single location, facilitating streamline product manufacturing and distribution.
